When to make an appeal

You should only make an appeal to the National Assembly for Wales or the Secretary of State as a last resort. Always try to negotiate with the Local Planning Authority to achieve a satisfactory conclusion before sending an appeal. If you cannot resolve the matter remember that we must receive your completed appeal before the time limit expires. If you want further information please see: forms, publications, F A Qs or contact us.

For information about appeals in your area please see our appeal list.
