Introduction

The Planning Inspectorate's office in Wales is based in Cardiff and has 20 administrative staff, as well as 20 professionally qualified Planning Inspectors who work from home. We are an executive agency of the National Assembly for Wales and undertake various types of planning related casework.

The Inspectorate also has an office in Bristol, which serves the Department for Communities and Local Government. They carry out similar work in relation to England.
